stomach Pain
Hi all, its been a while since I posted last.
Lately i have been waking up in pain. I am trying to figure out If I should start worrying. I cant tell what pain it is. I know hernia pain and this feel alot like it. Lately my hernia has gotten alot worse. My Dr wants me to lose another 80lbs before he fixes it. I dont know if I can wait that long. I can take a lot of pain, but its starting to get unbarable. I also get alot of pain lower. I know what that is. I feel like I am getting compacted. Is that normal? Has anyone else had this problem?

I had that problem at the beginning of the month. My intestines were kinked and needed to be put back where they belonged. I am not saying that is what yours is but any stomach pain needs to be taken care of. Are you having any problems eating or drinking. I know i couldnt for about 5 days. I had alot of back pain too. It seemed like everything was on the right side--right around the rib cage area and below. It seemed to wrap right around. It seemed no matter what I did the pain was just there and didnt go away. Walking, sitting, standing, heating pad, bath nothing seemed to help. I would call the dr and have them check you out. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

no I dont get sick with eating or drinking. sometimes i cramp some. I know when i had my surgery the surgeon said that some mesh had adhered to my intestines and had to cut the mesh off the intestines and he had hope there wasnt any damage. But all went well, this feels like my hernia acting up, I know its gotten much bigger than it was. My surgeon is in rochester and I live in syracuse. I would think that if I run into problems that I could go to the ER here. My hernia surgeon is Dr Kim and I know he does the bariatric surgery also.
