stalled!!!
hi all, I had RNY surgery on 4/14/08 and weighed 330 on my surgery day. now 9 months later I weigh 250 and have been at this weight for 3 months. is this it for me??? don't get me wrong I'm so grateful for losing 80 pounds so far. but I want to lose more. I have a mini goal to lose 20 more pounds. sorry just needed to talk to someone about it.
Congrats on your 80 pound weight lost! I had my surgery the same day as you. Are you exercising? Are you getting in all of water everyday? Did you perhaps change the type of foods that you are eating? Are you snacking? Try to look at the things that you are doing differently now before you hit that stall.
Don't ever be sorry for needing to ask a question. This is scary & we all have been there. Now having said that congrats on your loss so far - you have done awesome!!! Everyone's body is different & we all hit stalls at different points in our journey. I was stuck for a few months too & don't do what I did - I got laxed & the next thing I knew I had gained back about 20lbs. Stay focused - exercise more, add a little extra walk to the mix - every little bit helps. take a look at what you've been eating. Are adding in extra carbs that you haven't in the past? (That was my downfall.) Just make a couple little changes & you will be surprised - it will kick back in before you know it!!! Hang in there - patience can be as important as the exercise is!!!

i can totally relate i had my surgery 4-25 and had lost 88 pounds and have been there for about 2 months now but just this week i lost a couple more so i am hoping the stall is finaly over. The Carb issue is a tough one, i have to watch that myself....good luck to you
