Hi everyone!! It's been a long time since I've been around &  I see a lot of new faces & many familiar!! I hope as I explore the newbies I see a lot of success stories... a lot of hope for the future.

I am doing fine health-wise but I had veered off-track as far as my eating habits are concerned & it seems I have gained back about 20lbs... shame on me!! I can make excuses, I have a million of them, but I am not going to. I know the bad habits that crept up on me especially over the holidays (snacking & the "carb-monster) & now I have decided to regain control & finish this journey I started!! I did pretty damn well while I was paying attention to what I was doing but once I stopped, all hell broke loose!!!

Anyway - today is day 2 of getting my butt back in gear & so far so good!!! I just wanted to say hi & see how everyone was doing & let those that have asked about me see that I indeed hadn't fallen off the face of the earth... I just tripped over the edge but caught myself just in time!!!

Here's to picking up where I left off!!!

Jamie,
I knew I'd hit the proverbial wall sooner or later & I made it almost 1 yr before it happened. Now begins the battle back! Thanks for your support - every bit helps!!!

I know where you are at. it hit me over the holidays and i gained back 7 pounds. it is tough to get back on track.  the carbs screem out my name some days and it is tough to get past the bakery isle.  it is weird how we can go so long with ouot and once we feed that monster a little it just craves so much more.  stay away from them, I am trying to do the same.  The thing i know is thay you notice the fat going back on a lot more then before.  keep honest to your self. best of luck.

Thanks Dave. It's been a few days & sometimes I feel like a junkie going through withdrawl & I guess in a sense I am! LOL!! The real test is back to work tomorrow... I seem to have gotten into the habit of hitting the candy jar on a daily basis... those little buggers add up!!! I bring healthy snacks but I can hear those monsters calling my name from the other side of the building!!! I know I can do this - I did it once before - I just have to keep my goals in mind!!! I want to have plastics so badly to remove my panni & if I can't loose the extra weight I can't get it done!! So there's my motivation!!! Think happy thoughts!!!

Good luck to you too! You have done amazing!!!

Thanks!! I am trying to get back into the habit of getting on here daily!! I miss the folks from our NY Board & a few friends I made over on the main board so I will be looking for them too!!! I agree that it helps keep things in perspective!! I stopped reading, not because I was too busy, but subconsciously I think it was because it meant I had to hold myself accountable for what I was doing (or not doing as the case may be) & as George Carlin once said "If the cop didn't see it, I didn't do it!!" I guess in spirit that quote holds true!! Ignore it & it will go away!! Nope, no more!! Back to reality!! I did the math & if I don't get a grip I will be back in the old hell I lived in for so many years pretty quick & I wasn't going to let that happen!!! I made it through the weekend pretty much unscathed & that's a major accomplishment in my book!!

I hope you're doing well!!! It's good to hear from you again!!!
