Support Groups in Syracuse?

Hi Everyone,

I have a friend in Syracuse who is contemplating having the lap-band procedure.  Before she makes up her mind, she'd like to talk with some people who have had it, or any other wls procedures. Could someone share with us the details of any upcoming support group meetings.

There is a support group in Liverpool.

Is this strictly for Lapbanders?

ETA: There is a lapband support group at the performing arts center at 505 Irving Ave at five on Monday 1/12 or 1/13 not sure of the date but will get back. ---SR

I got this from the website for my surgeon and he does both surgeries.

There is a LapBand only support group tonight in fact, at the Institute of Human Performance connected with University Hospital - it meets once a month on the second Monday.
