Dr.Posner in Buffalo(anyone?)

Anyone else have Dr posner in Buffalo?
How are u doing? Any complications? How often do u see him?

I used his associate Lael Forbes for my actual RNY but I see Dr P every 6 months now for check up's. Forbes left the state.

Dr P is a great HUGGER!!! He's too cool.

I had a minor complication (abcess due to the thickness of my fat layer post op...I was in the hospital one month out for 8 days with that) but these things happen and my surgery was still a huge success. Posner has never lost a patient due to RNY. That's amazing. I think it is because his program is SO STRICT pre op. It took me 10 months to get to the weight they wanted me at to qualify. I am so glad I went to BGH. I was formerly with SYNERGY and almost used Panemangelore.

How did you know you had an abcess? what were teh symptoms?
I also was going to go with synergy back in 2004/2005 and then this time I thought I was going to go their and ended up going to BGH--
Do you go the support group meeting and bgh or anywhere?

Hi! I had Lael Forbes 11/2006 and now see Posner due to Lael leaving the state. He performed my endoscopy a couple of weeks ago. He is a very nice doctor. I have had great success and worked very hard at my weight loss. This is no magic pill but a tool to change your life around for the better. I have been so happy with Buffalo General's staff. I also had my Tummy Tuck 9/2008 and due for my breast augmentation this week on the 13th. I am very happy with all of my surgeries and this next one coming up should be the last of them.  I had Dr. P. and he is great!  I chose his program over the other Buffalo programs because of his success.  He has been great!  He answered all of my questions and was great with my mother and husband.  I am so happy with him!! If you have any questions and I can help, let me know.  I have had no complications and am happy with my progress.

Hi my name is Regina and I live in Buffalo N.Y. I had the Gastric Bypass surgery and DR. Posner is my surgeon, I have had nothing but complications after the surgery. I had my surgery on Dec. 12th 2005 and since Aug. 2006 I have been getting sick all the time and have been admitted in the hospital. I dont know why and neither does DR. posner. I did run into someone else who had complications similar to yours post op. She was a fellow patient and my roomate when I was in for my abcess complication. She sounded like you and was in and out of the hospital all the time with no explanation. I think sometimes it just happens. I wish they could figure out why. It's so weird. I hope you get it all figured out and feel better soon.
