gas and back pain

I woke up Monday morning with a slight pain right above my belly button. Went and had my staples removed at 930. I had my gallbladder removed on the 19th. I thought it was just the staples irritating the site. Well by 11 the pain had become really bad and moved into my back too. I stood this until about 8. I couldn't sit, lay down, walk or anything the pain was just there. I went to the ER and they again told me just gas. They gave me fetinol(sp?) and that helped with the pain. They sent me home and gave me 4 vicotin and an appointment for my surgeon today. Yesterday was just as bad if not worse. I tried milk of magnesia, colaste and nothing worked. A heating pad worked for the back pain and only if I was rolled into the fetal position. Mind you I haven't had any gas or bowel movement either. Finally about 6 got some gas X. That seemed to be working about 8 or so. Not much pain and little back ache. Started burping alot and couple of toots. This morning woke up feeling ok. Went to doctors and he said same thing just gas. Felt ok all day and now my back pain is coming back. My stomach feels o****il I try to eat or drink anything. Havent really had alot to drink since Monday and some crackers here and there. Did have some diet ginger ale and some beef broth. Anyone else have this and what were they told? Thanks, Christine
It is Thursday morning and still having the pain. I had two crackers and some water to take vitamins with and as soon as i eat or drink the pain is right there and constant. Anyone have this problem?
