I was reading an article about what vitimins most doctors take and 2 that seemed to stand out
were Co-enzyme Q 10 and magnesium. The co-Q 10 helps imune system and helps resist
infections and is good for the heart. Magnesium helps with irratability. My question is do either of
these pose any special problems with bariatric patients??? does anyone know ??

Co Q 10 is fat based, meaning if you've had the RNY or the DS you won't absorb it as easily. I"m pretty sure it doesn't come in a dry formulation.

Magensium is ok, most americans are magnesium defficent (or so I've read), the problem with magnesium is that too much of it will make you go to the bathroom. I agree that you're levels of Magnesium should be tested with your other labs.
