anxiety and depression

surgey on nov 12 and i am still having anxiety and depression and it seems to get really bad when the pain is really bad-
anytime i try to eat o r drink it gets worse

I was hoping your issues would have improved by now. Have you talked to or seen your surgeon yet? I'm sorry you are still feeling so poorly.
If you haven't been in contact w/ your doc, you should call him soon. Maybe you have a stricture (narrowing) or something -- it's one of those painful things but the fix is easy (endoscope to stretch the opening). I haven't been through it myself, but I know some who have and it sounds bad, but it's not. Once they do it, you're good to go.
I do hope you're feeling better soon. Of course, pain for this long would leave you anxious and depressed.

Hi I called dr posner and he admitted me in the hospital on tuesday last week and I ws there until sat. I am home now- I am still having breathing problems- and my dirhea strted back -not as bad- I still have the pain and numb and ting in the arms and hands-
I called dr posner yesterday and he said it takes time to heal and that he did the testing- that he needed to do-
A nurse will be out to check on me today or wed- so that will be nice-
MY husband stayed home yesterday from work- to be with me-
So I am doing my best to get through this- but its been rough-
my mom will check on me this afternoon-
It just been hard on all of us- and i have been depressed- and anxious 

So sorry about all your troubles ...
Did the nurse see you other other day? What did she have to say? Do you have another follow-up appt set up w/ Dr. Posner already?
I will keep you in my prayers and hope they get to the bottom of these problems soon for you. I'm sure it must be awful to have this continue on for so long.

Hi Lovingheart. I am feeling so bad for you, I am sorry that you are having a rough time of it. I agree with Maria that you should get in there to see Dr. Posner, I am concerned that you are having this pain still, and difficulty with eating and drinking. Don't forget about the support groups at Synergy, it sounds like you definately need some support and connecting to others who have already been there is so important. It's gonna be OK, your just going thru a rough spell right now. Take it easy and let us know how you are doing.
