successful ru-n-y revision to ds
You should visit the DS forum, we have LOTS of RNY to DS post ops, and lots of RNY to DS preops......it's becoming a more and more popular surgery (unforunately). As far as I know, right now there are no surgeons in NY that are performing it on a regular basis. Dr. Gagner was performing it regularly, but he moved down to Miami at the beginning of the year, Dr. Inabeit (sp?) is performing it on a limited basis.....so honestly you might have to travel if you want the surgery.
The RNY to DS is a very complicated surgery, and only a handful of surgeons in the country perform it, and perform it well. My personal opinion (just based on patient testimonies and such) is that Dr. Gagner is probably one of the best in the country, he might be able to get you follow up with his former partner Dr. Pomp in NYC once you've had surgery.

Can you share your issues and why you are considering this? I agree REVISIONS are risky esp this type (not impossible) nd should be considered with many facts inclouding finding a skilled and experienced revision surgeon who has done HUNDREDS!
