Dang - I thought there was a support group @ Synergy tonight!

I need to call the office on Monday to schedule an appointment, and I will ask them and let you know. I can not imagine that they would turn anyone away. I will post as soon as I talk to them. Take care!

Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.  They start at 6:00 and they get pretty crowded so get there early.
I went to a meeting a week after I had my surgery and it was fine.  My husband drove me since it's a 40 minute drive, but it was really good for me to get out and see everyone.  But that was my experience, you'll know if you feel up to it and you can make your decision from there.  :)

What do you guys do there? I kinda want to come but I am in a weird antisocial funk lately. I have no idea why. just wondering what a meeting is like.

Yes the meeting is this Tuesday at 6:00.   Lisa Naylon is our wonderful leader.   Go Lisa GO!!!

Mary, you should have somebody drive you to the meeting.  You're not suppose to be driving yet.  No driving until your followup appointment.   If you live close by, somebody would be glad to drive you home. 

I think Lisa runs a great meeting and we have had people there from other surgeons.   This is a Weight Loss Surgery support group, not a Dr. C's support group.  We welcome everyone there. 


And the meeting room does get filled up so come in early. 

Hi Anne! I know, I know! No driving. I have had the urge, I am so bored in here! But I go for walks and complain until someone takes me someplace!!! lol
But I will have to wait to come to a support group until I can drive because I don't live near by. But that's OK, there is plenty of time and plenty of meetings!
