I need a NY attorney to help me

I need a lawyer or someone who knows how to file a claim against an estate.

I'm sure most of you know about Gary Viscio's passing. Well, just a few days before he passed I mailed in money and a retainer contract. He never had a chance to do anything on a case for me. There has been no way of contacting anyone in his office. The office, home and his cell phone has all been disconnected. I sent a certified return letter to his office and it was never picked up. I have emailed his wife at her email address and Gary's and never got a response. I have been calling the NY Bar and they haven't been much help, they keep giving me different number s and different people to call. I have probably called 18 different numbers and talked to over 20 people and nobody can tell me anything. One lady told me to file a claim against his estate but wouldn't tell me how to do it.  I sent Gary alot of money (my entire savings) and I need to get it back.
I would appreciate any help or advise.

Hi, i am sorry what your going through. I can't imagine what Gary's family is going through right now...... Pehaps emailing ...obesityhelp.com to see if they can try to help you. just a thought.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound insesitive towards Gary's family.
I asked OH.com a few months ago if they had any other contact info for him and they didn't. I should ask them again.

I don't think you sounded insensitive at all. You sent a man lots of $$, and didn't get anythign in return and that money is due back to you. Gary isn't anything to you, you have no reason to feel "upset" or "sad" for his passing.



It was rumored that Gary was suing OH before his death, so I highly doubt that they will be able to help you.
