Coming to NYC and questions
I will be celebrating my 40th birthday in NYC this year and have a few questions about the weather and what to expect...
We'll get there the day after Thanksgiving and I'm not sure what the weather is going to be like. I live in Pensacola, FL so I'm expecting to freeze my butt off!
I also have tickets to Phantom
Rockets Christmas show
Jets/Broncos game
So my other question would be...what do people wear to the theatre in NYC? I work at a professional performing arts theatre in Florida and we see all kinds of get-ups from gowns to jeans and it's kind of ridiculous. I was thinking a party skirt and sequinned top but not sure.
Am I going to freeze at Meadowlands Stadium?
Help a southern girl out!

when I went to the show I saw a broad range of people dressed up, I was kinda dressy casual but there were also people really really dressed, so I would go for a happy medium...I love the city so so so so much, if there is anything you would like to know shoot my way I will see if I can help you, I had an internship there for the summer and it was great and I really want to move back when I graudate from college within the year...I was really hoping to be able to go back down to the city but the person my friend and I were supposed to stay with a friend and that fell through because they are moving, so I will be jealous and thinking of you! haha
asloooo
i would dress for the weather that you are expecting, I am much up more north but I think it will still be a *****illy out and the contrast in climate differences will be way different! ha
