just saying hi

   I just wanted to say hello and stop lurking in the shadows LOL.  I had lap band surgery 5/29/08.  I went for my 6 week (ish) check up today.  I have lost 28 pounds since surgery so my doctor has not given me a fill yet....we will see what happens in the next month.  I go back to work this Monday which I am looking forward to believe it or not.  It is nice to come here and read posts and know I am not alone.  The staff at my doctor office are good but sometimes it's better to talk with people who have already "been there" or are also on a similar journey.  I'm looking forward to getting to know people and reading many more post!

Hi! Glad to see you put from the shadows! Congrats on your loss so far! I am having open rny on 11/18. So I am getting close and I am excited, nervous, hopeful, all sorts of "stuff". I love this website and the people who are a part of it lol. I look forward to "seeing you" in future posts! Take care!
