Polling Place Pun

My wife and I dashed into the polling place. We signed...waited in line....my wife who was listed before me voted first. Took her about 2 minutes to make up her mind. Then, she exited the booth thingy. I entered, pulled the lever...and then began to goof off saying "BRING ME THE BROOM OF THE WICKED WITCH".....the people in line waiting for me began to chuckle. So, since they were amused...I continued "the great and powerful OZZZ hasss spoooken....."....


the polling supervisor lady asked "sir, is everything ok?".

My embarrassed wife said "uh...pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"....

EVERYONE erupted with laughter.


I made a difference in my community today.

Thankfully, the little community knows I am a cut up.

A good sense of humor will get you a long ways.  You did make a difference in the community today.  People need to laugh.
