surgery a week from Monday 8 days left
So I am having surgery a week from Monday 11/3/2008 so the surgery is on 11/10/2008. I have been on the liver reducing diet for a week so far and I have a week left on it. it is not as bad as I thought it would be. I am not hungry at all after the third day the hunger goes away and after the 4th day the mental wanting of food goes away. Now I just want the suregery to be over with so I can start losing. I have high hopes and fears. fears about both the surgery but more about keeping it off the rest of my life. although I have aoften said if I was skinny I would do everything I could to keep uit off and I will. Any suggestions on exercise to do soon after surgery to help accelerate the process? thanks also for any words of encouragement.
WONDERFUL! I hope you have a totally smooth and uneventful surgery. I go on the 11/18 with doc Caruana! I don't have to do the liver diet because I am having open, but I am glad it is going ok for you. Did you go to the exercise/nutrition class yet? I am going on 11/6, which is why I ask. Well, best of luck to you, judging from everything I've heard about these two docs, everything is gonna be great!!
Hey Nick --
Wow! It's coming fast. I remember you from the last couple of Synergy Support Groups. I am one of the "loud group" in the back.
Youi've done all the work to be as prepared as you can be ... you'll do just fine. And you also have your Grandmother to advise you. The instructions from the docs are pretty comprehensive. It's so exciting. You will be thrilled you did this. And if you ever have any "bumps in the road", the Support Groups are always there. And there's always someone there who went through whatever you will be going through.
Will be thinking of you and saying a prayer for a perfect surgery and an easy recovery!!
