Buffalo Area Support Group Last Night

I went to my first support group last night at Synergy in Williamsville and I'm so glad I did!

It was nice to see all these people who have gone through the surgery that I want to have and hear all their experiences - good and bad!  I learned a lot.

Hopefully I'll be able to share my before and after story too in the near future!

So glad to hear you enjoyed the meeting last night.  :)  I'm not sure which one you are but I'm one of the "regulars" at the back table.  I still love going to the group meetings and plan to keep going as long as Lisa will have me!  There is a lot of valuable information to be gotten there, from people in all stages of their journey.

I sat next to your table in front of the windows - right next to the glass case of vitamins and stuff. 

Whenever I go next, I'll have to get there earlier so I can get a better seat!

 

Yup it fills up pretty early for the meetings.  It's a good thing we have them on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays now.  When it was just the 2nd Tuesday, it was really packed!

NUTS! I thought it was on Thursday...I tend to be a scatter brain! Next time maybe.

The next one will be the 2nd Tuesday of November, I believe the date is the 11th.  I know what you mean about scatterbrained, I think I'd forget my own name if it wasn't on my credit cards!  *lol*

The support groups at Synergay are amazing.  I have learned a lot and a lot of the post op patients have made my anxiety go down quite a bit.  thanks to all of you post op patients from Synergy.
