Saw Dr. Viglianco yesterday won't have my surgery till January, was disappointed

Think of it as a great start to 2009!

I'm personally hoping that I am able to have my surgery with him in January.  Hope his office receives my psych evaluation report real soon so I can get my surgical consultation scheduled.

That seems like a very long time. Did he say why? I had my surgery 6 weeks after I saw him.

I think so too. Nobody said why. I started this last March everything that has to do with them has been slow. I had all my stuff done right away.

I would call Deann at Synergy and ask her.
Does your insurance require a pre-op diet or something? Or is Dr. V very busy now and that is his soonest appt?
I would find out exactly why.

I saw him on October 1st, he told me the surgery would not be until December and my surgery date is November 11th so have hope.  They tell you it will be longer in case your insurance company has more questions for them that they need to respond to.  I started my liver shrinking diet yesterday OMG it is nto fun so think of it as enjoying food for a longer period of time and being able to eat at Tahnksgiving.  I can't

The delays were probably due to what insurance  you have and the things you had to do for them.  I started the process in March also and had surgery Sept. 8--the results were worth the wait and so is Dr. V
