Hi everyone:
well I'm going on 3 weeks out and to be honest i feel fantastic. Once i got past week one and the intense shock to my system things are going great. My Dr moved me to mushee foods after a week and told me to introduce solids slowly. I seem up to this point to have no problems with any of the food i have tried. I am still a little sad at my sudden dislike to Tuna i used to love tuna now the thought gags me.  Anyway I'm walking everyday and doing really well at getting in my liquids; my protein well each day it gets better. The thing is I'm almost concerned things are going to well. I read about sooooooo many people that have problems and in certainly not dumb enough to think I'm in the clear but i guess I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there that did OK with foods in the beginning. I have not strayed at all from the Dr orders and maybe that's why i feel so good but  i am little concerned. I m sure this sounds pathetic but i thought i would ask. The scale well im ready to throw that out the window I have lost 18 pounds since my surgery and then NOTHING NADA ZILCH. How long does this last.
thanks

It is actually common to not have issues, it is not expected..I didn't have issues and have not vomited from food in 6 yrs...other than when Ihad adhesions that cut off my small intestines at 4 weeks that needed removal did I vomit! Once a calcium pill got stuck but really not a problem!

See my post on plateaus I replied earlier today to 'A stall already?' GBREWSTER 32.. ok! Be well.........

The scale getting it out of your life daily weekly is my suggestion..it can either be your ruler or you can be in control, choice is yours. lifechanging is key focus! Not scale/wt changing!

yes...its great to have no complications...and don't worry about your dislikes...my tastes were weird after my surgery and they changed after a few weeks....the stall is normal too...your body is adjusting...give it time...and GOOD LUCK!
