Hello!

Well my surgery was Oct 6 and I'm feeling great.  I'm already driving and walking like i've been told I must do!  Just had one question - I have a sharp, stabbing pain in my left side of my stomach - please tell me that's normal!  It's not constant, but just happens sometimes when I stand or walk or breath in very deeply.  I had an added complication to my surgery because although i had never had any abdominal surgery, i had adhesions and scarring in my stomach (possibly from ulcers i didn't know i had?) and they had to remove the scar tissue.  I had a lap and am feeling great...incisions are starting to get itchy!  thanks for any advice!

I concur asking surgeon re these issues to determine whats going on for you.

I had similar pain up to 8 weeks postop that incision was the one that they did the most manioulation through my surgeon stated, it was the largest of all my 5 lao scars. It passed. But again get medical advice on this ok!
