During the last month it seem i have developed horrific GAS and it is ripping the back porch off the house if you get my drift. Can you take anything to minimize or eliminate it ? Any suggestions would be helpful for me and those within smelling distance   LOL

The best way to control gas is to eliminate the foods causing you gas. My advice would be to eliminate all foods that could cause gas: most carbs, veggies, milks, etc...and stick to a very strict protein only diet (no dairy or whey shakes). Slowly add back in foods, and try to determine what is "triggering" these gas attacks...then avoid those foods. I'm very lactose intolerant...i cannot drink whey products or eat cheese without getting gas.

In addition, you might want to cut back on the fat in your diet, undigested fat can cause terrible smelling gas.

If your not taking one, you might want to try a probiotic. My suggestion would be to get one with at least 1 billion organisms. I use the pearls, but there are other ones on the market.

Finally, you might want to talk to your surgeon about a course of flagyl. It's an antibiotic that kills the bacteria in your gut that causes gas. This is a last stage of attack kind of thing, and normally is only used after you've done the above steps.
