how will i feel when i come home
I didn't feel that great the first 2 days, but the 3rd day was a 100% improvement. It could have just been the anesthesia. By day 3 I was doing jello and chicken broth. I went home on day 4 and felt pretty good, just a little weak. It's been 4 weeks today and I can honestly say that I feel great. Good luck!
Like the previous poster...the difference between the 3rd and 4th days are remarkable. I had pain and was taking perscription pain killers on the third day, but by the forth day I was taking tyelonol. Just make sure you have enough fluids and you sould feel fine, maybe just a little tired. Good luck.

I had the lap on a Tuesday and felt good the following day. i was off the morphine pump the following morning. Took painkillers for 1/2 of Wednesday and that was it. Had surgery at 130 and was up walking by 9 that evening. Ended up with a touch of pneumonia but extra walking and antibiotic took care of it. On Friday had muscle spasms. Those were the worst. Have never felt anything like those before. Besides the spasms didn't really have alot of pain--except when asked to cough and blow. I came home on Saturday and felt really good. Little tired but that was it. Good luck to you and keep us updated.

I am a little over 10 months out and I am doing great. I am down about 98 pounds so far. I am happy with the loss and somedays wi**** would stop. I started at 227 and am at 128-130. My goal weight was 144. I love these doctors. The whole group is great. Dr. Hill is wonderful and will explain everything to you on the day you meet with him. They are very eager to help you with anything. Any questions I can help you with let me know. Christine
