Three days preop
Yup it's completely normal to have these feeling as your big day gets closer. Some ppl will even contemplate cancelling the surgery, and I'm sure most of us had doubts about what we were about to do. I know I had the same thoughts, and now more than 10 months out, I couldn't be happier that I had the surgery. So much has changed for the better.
Good luck and try to stay as calm as you can.

You are right, you will never be the same after your surgery, as long as you use this tool to help you develop new eating and exercise habits. I always felt happy prior to my surgery, but I am so much happier with myself since my surgery. I am very close to achieving my goal, a goal I have worked very hard for, with many hours spent exercising.
Getting used to what to eat is difficult at first, but then it becomes second nature to figure out where to get the low fat and carb opions with high protein. Just remember that when you need encouragement we are here for you.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. I'm feeling the exact same way. My surgery is with Dr. Clarke on Tuesday. I was debating on whether on wanted to go to work on Monday to try to keep my mind off of things, but when I left my office today everyone was so supportive and encouraging, it gave me the strength that I needed. ... Just think, next week at this time we will be home and it will be all over and we will be giving advise to others. ... Please feel free to write and maybe I'll see you in the hospital.
