Hi I am moving to Rochester tomorrow. I had RNY in 1999, and a revision to that RNY in 2/08. I need to find a surgeon to follow my case, any suggestions? My insurance is United Healthcare PPO if anyone else has that one as well. Thanks for the help. Also I am an LPN and don't have a job yet, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the Bariatric Center at Highland Hospital.  Not sure if he's taking new patients but Dr. O'Malley is a more than competent surgeon!  And I love Highland Hospital!

I'm having surgery on Monday, Dr. DiBenedetto is my surgeon.  He's a very good doctor, has a great track record, and his practice isn't as big as some of the others so it's easier to get in to see him.  His office is at Rochester General.

I think you'll find highland hospital's program the best in the area, i travel 6hrs round trip to go there. Dr O'malley is one of the best in the country.

The longest of Journeys start with a single step
(90 lost pre-surgery)
