I'm Home

Hi all, just a quick note I got home Friday night. I had the surgery at
7:30am this past Tuesday morning. Everything for the most part went
smooth. Wednesday and Thursday were a bit tough as I was completely
miserable with pain, and feverish so they did all the X-ray leakage
tests etc (all negative) took my bowels an extra day to wake up which
they said was normal.

Surgeons commented to my wife they never had a patient talking so much
right up until they completely knocked me out....I have no clue what I
said but apparently it was about world affairs and politics.

I am very sore and in a bit of pain today but am drinking water,
chewing vitamins and walking around...just glad to be home.

Cheers,
Steve

Welcome home Steve!! Congrats to you!!!! I hope everything is still going well!!! Make sure you walk a lot, rest a lot & sip, sip, sip when you aren't sleeping or walking!!! You should be feeling better real soon!!

That's funny about the talking!! I warned them that if I gave away any world secrets, primarily about my bro & sil expecting baby #3 it wasn't to leave the room!! At the time they hadn't told anyone - they wanted to share with me so I'd have something pleasant to think about while waiting for surgery & now I have a beautiful 3 month old niece to go with the other 3!! They said I never said a word!! Good thing!!

If you need anything just give us a yell!!
