Met with Dr. Viglianco!

For those of you who are waiting for an appt. with Dr. Vigilianco I just want to say that my visit with him was great!
He spent so much time with me. Not like other surgeons who rush you through.
I decided to go with the lap band as that is the best choice for me. I am currently waiting for my surgery date!
I am so excited!!!

I just met with him as well!  My appointment was on the 3rd.  I LOVED him!!!!    He spent time with me & my mother... who asked a million questions!!!
I went and had my iron blood work done last week as well... I am waiting to hear from them as well...
What surgery date did they have written in your folder?  Mine was November but she said with Dr. V she can usually get you in quicker...

We will be very close in date.
I met with him the last week of August. In the folder they said I should hear from them by 9/24 and have surgery end of Oct. beginning of Nov.
I hope it will be sooner than later. I just had my blood work done last week too.  Things are really moving along!
What will you be having?

i heard once they pay everything moves pretty quickly!

I was planning on scheduling with Dr. Caruana. Is  it much easier to get an appt. with Dr. Vigilianco instead? I went with Caruana because I have heard so much about him over the years, but if I have to wait forevrer it's good to hear that his partner is so nice.

It probably would be 2-3 weeks faster to get an appt. with Viglianco. The main difference between him and Caruana is that he only does laparoscopic surgery and Caruana does open.

This is good to hear ! The sooner, the better. And I wanted the laparoscopic surgery in the first place. I guess I'll take whoever is quickest.

i think caruana only does open... but im not sure... so if you wanted lap. you would need to see viglianco...

I took your advice and looked in my claim history. They paid for my first visit today ($223)!!!!!!
I hope it goes fast now!!

ive been checking every day!!!  i looked today and it said paid on 9/19 so hopefully after the 19th i get my call!!!
