New Suffolk County NY WLS Support group forming!

There is no reason to have a word fight on here.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I understand Trish not wanting to hear about everyones history over and over but it is a part of their journey. In our meetings we plan for histories to be a part of it but not to consume it. We have no plans to be routine from month to month and hope to have our members help to guide us to address the issues we really want answers to. It is easy to be critical of each other online but come to the meetings and lets offer support... not criticism.

We are planning to start our group this month. We are currently looking for suggestions and meeting topics. Also if anyone knows a location that had a meeting room, that is free to use, available during weekday evenings and is in between Patchogue and Bay Shore we would love the suggestion. Finding a good meeting place has been the biggest challenge. Thanks for your help and we look forward to you comments, suggestions and seeing you at the meeting!!!!!!!

We are going to be starting our meetings. The meetings will be held at the Patchogue Medford Library on Main Street in Patchigue. There is parking behind the building. The meetings will be from 7:00-9:00 on Tuesdays. The first meeting is tentativly scheduled for Tuesday November 4th. We know this is election day but we want to get started. The first meeting will be from 7:00-8:00 so people can still vote. I am looking for a response so that we know we will have some members. Please let me know, thanks!

Heading West:
From the Long Island Expressway take Exit 64 (Route 112), at 112 make a left heading south to end, at E. Main Street make a right. Continue down to number 54 East Main Street, library is on left hand side.
From Sunrise Highway take Exit 53 (Route 112), at 112 make a left heading south to end, at E. Main Street make a right. Continue down to 54 East Main Street, library is on left hand side.
