I was at a support meeting on Thursday night and somebody gave a really good suggestion.  When you are able to get back into bed to sleep, tie a rope to the bottom of the bed and bring it up over the top of the bed, this way, when you have to get up, you can pull yourself up by the rope.  It's gonna a be a while before your tummy muscles will be able to do the work by themselves.

Safe surgery!  It will be worth it!

Wow!!! That is a Great idea! Thank you. I have three cats...just hope they know it's not their new toy! Or my boyfriend has had enough of catering to me and decides to make more use out of it.  LOL! I will be staying at his place for my first week. He has a Ranch, dual recliner sofa and of coarse the bathroom on the same floor. Doc says no stairs and no bed for my first week. Thank you again for that great idea!

When you get back to the bedroom, kick the kitties out for the night.  I lock my three out or I'd never get any sleep!  Another thought is to run the rope under the sheets so they hopefully won't see it!

Good luck with your surgery.  I want pics of you in a bikini when you're healed!

Hehehehehe!!!!! But, it would be cute to play Jump rope with them in bed. You want bikini shots...well I already have some from this past summer, just from Aug 27th. I'll see about getting those on first and then you can see the drastically improved bikini shot! LOL!
