GHI insurance anyone?

Has anyone used GHI insurance for RNY surgery?  If so, can you direct me to a surgeon who accepts it?  My friend has GHI and lives in NJ (husband works for New York City Schools).  Thank you!

 i have the same insurance.. im a teacher in NYC. my surgeon Dr. Spencer Holover takes GHI insurance. He is in Dr. Shawn Garber's office in New Hyde Park on Long Island.

I'm a retired New York City teacher with GHI.  My doctor is out of network, however he accepts GHI's payment checks plus the copays. I am very lucky and he is a fantastic doctor. His name is Edward Cussatti and he is in West Islip, NY.  He works out of Good Samaritan Hospital also in West Islip.  He is a wonderful and caring surgeon. I have GHI and went to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood . My surgeon was Dr. Davis and he is excellent  . He uses Valley , Presbyterian Hospital in NYC and Lawrence in Westchester . I have two choices for the after care , either the office just off Rt. 17 in Riidgewood or Middletwon NY in Orange County .  They will use whichever hospital covers everything for the surgery . I actually  went to Lawerence because the anestyologist was not covered in Valley but could have went to Presbyterian in Manhattan . Main thing is they made sure everything was covered , no surprises . Great after care with Gio Duguay who takes care of my fills and the office staff are wonderful . You have a lot of choices out there , I did my research for a year , very thoroughly , and picked Dr. Davis and the staff at Valley . The Middletown NY number is 845 343 8666.
