I Have a Date!

I have a "pencilled in" date.  It's pending insurance approval.

October 1st.  It's being done at the Cleveland Clinic.

I have to go out Thursday, and have a hole put in my liver first (TIPS procedure).  This will reduce the risk of death from 20% to 5% during surgery.

It hasn't been an easy journey.  But the goal will be worth it.

I go back to a phrase I heard a LONG time ago.  God promised us paradise at the end of our journey, he just never promised a smooth, easy journey to get there.

GOOD NEWS! You have already done so well as it is towards this goal..and now...now you get the tool!

Congratulations! What excellent news! October 1st will come up very quickly! Best of luck on your procedure Thursday I hope it is simple, painless and uneventful.

Hey Donbab: Persistence does pay off doesn't it?? You have shown much of it on your journey towards getting healthy and had many obstacles thrown into your pathway but you've made it and now you certainly deserve good health!
