Calling all Upstate New Yorkers!!!

We need you to walk!! 
What: The Walk From Obesity
When: Saturday, September 20th
           9 a.m. Registration
           10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk   
Where: MVCC Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica
Why: To help the ASMBS and Obesity Coalition fight one of the nation's leading causes of death and disabilty.  Funds raised through the walk support research, advocacy and education programs.
How can YOU help:
You can register at www.walkfromobesity.com and be a Utica Walker
You can donate money to the Utica Walk from Obesity using the same website.
You can donate an item to be used either as a door prize for the walkers or to be placed in the Chinese Auction.  All money raised at the walk go the ASMBS and the Obesity Action Coalition.

If you have any questions or can help out by donating an item for the raffle or door prizes please contact me!!

I have a box of candybars laying around here that i am sure would make a great door prize (sarcastically speaking)

It would be great if you could walk!!  I am usually a lurker on the site and have been following your story.  I am glad to hear things are getting better.  I would love to meet you!!  And please leave the candy bars at home!!!!

For the capital region people, there is also a walk scheduled for Schnectady.  I think it was on the 27th, but there is a information on the walk from obestiy site above.
