You sir, are laughable.  I would like you to point out where I "attacked" you.  You cannot handle anyone who doesn't agree with you.  I did not criticize God and you have no idea what my relationship with God is.  I'm glad you have God to help you heal.  Whatever it takes.  More power to ya.

I suggest you go hang out on religion forum to post your scripture.  The moderators posted a reminder on the Lap Band forum board about that very thing the other day.

You need to be just as respectful of other people as you are requesting them to be of you.

Blessings.

Maam, you are the only person on this thread who has complained about the quotation of scripture.

You have a long journey ahead of you on this weight loss road...as many of us do. Focus on your war...not on a scrimage.

As far as anyone who disagrees with me.....maam....if you disagreed with me over the use of Scripture...which was not posted in a preaching or pushy manner, then you...maam...are looking for a fight. I am "pulling my dog" from this fight. Truth is truth...but there is no need for me to bash you with it. It is clearly seen you have an issue with scripture...and that is not something to this weight loss support forum. Be advised though, I will continue to quote verses from Scripture when I feel led to do so.

as far as respecting others, I have not ever been disrespectful on here...nor do I plan on being disrespectful.

Thank you Jamie, as always, for your ideas. I think that while inspirational ideas are always welcome and enriching on these boards, the religious nature of some of the comments in reply are inappropriate and should be sensitively considered when posted.

We all derive inspiration from different things. Religion is a very touchy subject and should be addressed with sensitivity and tact. I feel that the snippits of wisdom you posted here can serve as inspiration to those who are religious, and those who aren't and so they are welcome, helpful, and non controversial.

Thanks as always for your input.

Hugs,
Amy
