Sorry - I wasn't on-line yesterday - not enough time in the day it seemed!!!
So I guess I am the only one who is going to bite the bullet huh?
Ok here goes:
Decided to leave the car home yesterday & walk to the bus stop. Now, there used to be a sign at the top of my road (about 1/4 mile) but I couldn't find the sign & wasn't sure exactly where the stop was in that direction so Idecided to just start walking. I figured I'd find a sign or end up at the park n ride where I usually go every day. Well, I found the sign about 1/3 mile from my house but since I had 10 minutes to kill I kept walking & next thing you know - boom - at the park n ride!! So I started my morning with a mile walk!!! Woo Hoo!! It was the perfect day, in my opinion, for a walk anyway!!!
Got to work - passed on the moon pie cookies - didn't look all that appealing to me anyway. I ran upstairs & grabbed an egg & some strawberries. It was ok but it worked!!
Went outside to the plaza for lunch - actually to see what the farmer's market had to offer. I bought a couple zucchini, 2 ears of corn (I couldn't resist they looked beautiful!!), a couple of peaches, a pear & an apple. Finished my walk around the plaza - another mile total.
Got back to my desk - fanned myself for a few minutes & then smelled someones split pea soup - MY FAV!!! Ok, I know it's not on the list, neither is the corn but I couldn't resist. So walked all the way down to the cafe & got soup anyway!! Normally I would've said the heck with it - more walking, ugh - but it was all good!!! Had my small soup & an apple & was a happy camper!!
Took the bus home & walked from the bus despite being offered rides. I did however get off at the stop near my house because I had this heavy bag from the farm stand but it was an addtl 1/4 mile. So all total for the day my pedometer read a little over 3.17 miles!!! All in all a good day!!!
Dinner I had some home made beef stew that I made over the weekend. Filled with veggies & beef that melts in your mouth (gotta love a crockpot!)!!!
So let's see what today brings!! Only good things I am sure!!!
