Had surgery tuesday..  was released today.   Doing very well.  Not much pain, except for tuesday night haven't needed any pain meds.

Lost 12 pounds on my 2 week liquid diet, my liver was in great shape!!  :)   Aunt flo showed up Wednesday  :(   Hard to tell if any weight loss at the moment, since auntie tends to bring around 10 pounds or so of water weight  :(.

Woohoo!!!   Glad that I had it done.

Glad you're home & doing well!!! Remember when you're not sleeping to walk - even if it's just pacing around your house & sip, sip, sip when you're not walking!!! Get plenty of rest & you'll be up kicking butt in no time!!!!

Good luck!!!

Congratulation!!!  I'll get those samples out to you this morning (It was a crazy week- I'm a teacher and it was the last week of summer school).

I am so happy for you!  And jealous!  I don't get surgery until October.  If it's not too personal though, why were you in the hospital for 3 days?  I thought it was out-patient surgery.

Hi!
Just so you know if you have RNY it is most definelty not out-patient surgery. It is major surgery where you are in the hospital 2-5 days (or more if you have complications). It is good though as it helps you get used to sipping little amounts all day, with your pain management (I had hardly any due to good drugs), and walking around the unit, etc. I went to Albany Med and I loved it,but I have heard good things about all the other NY hospitals too.
             LOTS OF HUGS!
