So I saw the PA yesterday, and I am doing well.  My weight on surgery day was 307, and yesterday I was 219...OMG  , never thought that day would come.  My B/P was 119/79, another OMG because before surgery I was on Lasix and 100mg of Toprol XL daily for my bp of 170/110.  After surgery they took away the Lasix and put me down to 50mg of Toprol..and about 1.5 months ago I stopped it altogether because I was getting dizzy a lot...I take my bp daily and chart it...just in case, it has been perfect!  And it was yeaterday too even after driving an hour to the office in a horrible storm!  I am no longer on my Nexium, and she was fine with that...I have been on that for 10 years, and since surgery no heartburn at all!!!  And I also took myself off my Lexapro (I know I am bad...) and no anxiety or depression, knock on wood.  No more sleep apnea or knee pain either!  I just cannot believe this, I feel GREAT!!!

I now take b-12, Biotin, multi vit, and calcium w/D.  Thats, only vitimins...something I never took in my life.  I know I dont get in enough protein, I just cant stomach the shakes....so I will try harder.  We will see what my bloodwork shows...My next appt is in November.  I eat the best I ever have, I always eat protein first... and I cannot eat any more than 7-9 grams of sugar per searving or I get sick!  So I eat sugar free, and stay away from carbs...altho I can eat the high protein pasta, but only once in a while.  I cant tolerate bread either.  I am thankful for that.  Thanks for all your support guys, I think this is the best thing I have ever done.  Oh and I started in a size 24 pant and a 4X shirt, now I am a 16 pant and XL shirt....another OMG!!!

hI added a pic of my aunt, mom, and myself...we have each lost about 87 lbs!!!  Take a look!

WOW I am so happy for ya.  keep up the good work.   I too can't stand protien it feels so bad in my pouch.  I try the best I can BUT I am also afraid of what my blood work will show.  It is such a good feeling to see how far you come isn't it??  I am just amazed.  I look like a different perosn and the clothes that i can wear i can shop at any store I want to which is so great cause there is always a 80% of rack LOL.  I went from 246 and now I and 144.  Wore 18/20 and now 10/12  YAHPOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  So grateful for this surgery.  i am so happy for you once again and I will try to keep in touch.  I have been bad about getting on here  LOL  Congrats again
