Starting Medifast on 8/22
Keep your eye on the prize.. With each shake you're 1 step closer to your surgery.. Do exactly what Chris and everyone at the office tells you and the weight will fall off... Cheat and everyone will know it.. As hard as it is.. I did my shakes in December and January so chicken broth was my saving grace..
You can definately do this.. 1 month is nothin'..

Congrats on starting your journey!!! I found that when I was doing Medifast it was easiest for me to get the shakes down if they were really cold. Try adding some extracts for a change of flavor. My fav was raspberry in the chocolate shake.
Remember, this is the hardest part of the surgery if you ask me!!!
Good luck!!
You can do it!!!

The Medifast is not near as bad as you think it will be. I had lots of carb craving / withdrawal for the first 2 days and then it became easier. Believe it or not, I was really not all that hungry while on the shakes.
After the first few weeks post op, life gets really good. You start to learn what and how to eat, what foods always settle well and you get into an exercise routine. I am currently 4 months out and my only regret is that I did not make this decision much sooner.
Any questions send me a message.
