looking for support groups

I am due to have surgery in three months and I need to attend 2 support grioup meeting before I do, in the Poughkeepsie area. What do you suggest

The closest I know of is in Middletown.  Doesn't your surgeon have a list for you?

I go to Judy Lynchs  bariatric support group  in Montgomery . We have a few from Pogheepsie area and Fishkill that have joined us.

Meetings  are First Thurs of month at 630pm for pre and post op FREE

Third Thurs of month at 545 pm for smaller post op class with small fee

Pastoral Counseling Center on Rt. 17k .

She used to run the one in Middletown but has relocated to her offices , that is the only one I know of presently in Orange County area , any others I would love to know .

There is a support group at Northern Dutchess on the first Tuesday of the month.  If you call they can give you more info.  It is run by dietary and not in the main building.
