Chipped beef is cooked in a white sauce (flour, butter, cream or milk) and served usually over toast.. This along with the white sauce is VERY high in FAT..

at 3 weeks, you should be on pureed soft foods. Not something I would personally try... But to each his own.

You could try warming it up almost like a corned beef hash maybe. I think my mom used to make a ham salad-ish thing with it. If I remember correctly she would add a little mayo, ketchup & relish. You could try that. I don't know how else to eat it. How's the fat content in the meat itself? I know making the chipped beef stuff would add tons of fat to it but it might be kind of ok at this point. Be careful & go slow with it!!

I made a "noodleless" tuna casserole that you might be able to eat if you can tolerate tuna. I took a can of tuna (drained & mashed up) - added a 1/2 can of fat free cream of mushroom soup, some onion powder, garlic powder & pepper to taste & I mixed in a few tablespoons of canned baby peas (they're really softer than frozen). Mixed it together & heated it either in the oven or in the microwave. It tasted similar & was a nice change. (BTW - don't use albacore tuna, it's too dry - use chunk light in water, it has more moisture to it!!)

Good luck & let me know how the corned beef experiment went.

personally i would look for something different besides bland taste it is high in sodium
at 3 weeks out you should be on puree i would eat it if pureed but i would be EXTREMELY careful

ooooh Cece thanks for that recipe, im gonna try it tommorow. I did do the canned beef, i acutally fired it in 1/2 tsp of canola oil, with an egg and some salsa. it went down ok, but i think scrambled dosent like me.. my kids say , look out ms, fartula is on her way! lol

corned beef fried kinda taste like bacon, whiich i have been jonesing for, but i dont think ill eat it anymore. that tuna caserole sounds yumm-y.

also tonight, i made a turkey dish.... ground turkey, sauteed it with ghee, onions and garlic, added some cumin, some mexican enchilda mix, and from my garden tomatoes. i added some chilis from my garden. wowowo spicy and yummy. surprisingly, my tummy dosent mind spicy, but like tuna with mayo, or anything bland... my tummy reacts. maybe cause im used to indian food? my tummy dosent react to spicy?

i also made some korma chicken.. didnt taste so good like i used love it before wls
