Knee Surgery tomorrow ..Medifast Thursday

Welcome to the Medifast world!! I did it for 12 weeks this time last year & all I can say is it is a true test - it is going to be tough but if I can do it anyone can!!!!
I could only tolerate the chocolate one - the vanilla smell alone made me gag (yeah, it's me)!!
Here are a few things I learned the hard way:
~ Make sure it's made with really cold water & keep it cold - it's easier to drink. Do a double at lunchtime if you find it tough to make it through the afternoon!! It filled me up longer!!!
~ Mix it really well - use a Bullet or blender if you can or if you use a shaker shake the daylights out of it... lumps suck!!
~ I added a little bit of extracts to it... my favs were almond, orange, raspberry & even cherry - it was like my own box of liquid russel stovers (sick analogy I know but it worked!) I tried mint but apparently I got the wrong one - it was vile! Check out the sf syrups like DaVinci & Torani - they can spice it up for you too!!
~ Are you allowed 1 lean & green? If so make the most of it!! Add as much flavor as you can - it helps with the deprivation feelings!!! Spice things up as much as you can tolerate & by all means mix it up... don't stick with just chicken - you'll burn out quick!!!
Good luck!!! Just keep in mind that this is the hardest thing that Dr Clarke puts us through!! Once you get through this the rest is easy!!!!
