are there  any support groups  in the  auburn  syeracuse area

Hi there are support groups in Auburn the second and forth Wedneday of the month. My doctor is in Auburn I go to meet with him for the first time on Aug 4th. Cant wait. Are you local?

ty  you   yes im local  all tho  im dr is  in   horse heads elmira    but  i dont want  to travel  that  far   for  support  groups   do   no if  there  just  for  certin drs  or are they open to every one     are you local    it   how far  along in the  proccess  are  you  ?

Hi, I think they are open to all but I have a numer to the Hopsital if you would like it.. I live in Waterloo about 20 minutes from the Auburn hosp. I am just starting my journey. My first apptment is on Monday then i guess I have 6 mo ahead of me. How far in are you?

   yes  we go shopping at the  waterloo  outlet  mall  alot   mainly the childerns place     for my  daughter     yes i would love the   number if you could    i  have   had my  first  appt   and  did the group meeting  also  just  had  my  appts with the  nutrionist  and  social worker  my next appt is  with the  nurse practionoer   so he  can figure  out  what  test  if any  he  wants done     its cool your  close havent  met any one   close to me    if you ever  wanna  chat    or go to  a support meeting  togeather  let me no  i no i have a hard time doing that with out    noing  some one

I used to work at Osh Kosh but my whole pay check would go right back for clothes for my son. The discount was nice. Now I shop Childrens Place you cant beat the prices. Did you have RNY or the lap band. I hope to be getting the lap band. So call that number and let me know what you find out.

   i havent had  surgery yet  but    gunna have  rny      ya  i can spend a fortune  on cloths for my  daughter    at those stores

If you live in Weedsport you should check out Dr. Wiess in Auburn. He used to be out of Syracuse but transfered there. Which surgery are you looking into? Gastric seems to drastic so i want the lap band plus I plan on having one more child. My son was two in March. He is ready for a sibling but I need to loose some weight first. Let me know what you find out after you call. I added you as a friend so we can chat off the forum.

there  are  no drs around here  that  except medicaid    so   thats why  i go to horse heads          gastric  is   drastic   and i  did  consider   lap  band  but  my  dr  said that  with my  bmi  id get better results    with th rny     so thats    ware im going    and we plan  to have  another  child to  so and  my  dr said after two years   it  would be fine to try all  tho  there  have been  many  people   on here  with  rny  that have gotten   pregnate  four  five months  out    and were  fine   but  i  no what you mean  about    needing another sibling     im waiting  on a call back  from the hospital   will let you no  as soon as i   hear from them
