Natural hair salons in NYC

Hello lovely ladies!  My daughter has been growing her hair out for several months and wants to go with a more natural look.  Can any of you suggest a good hair salon in NYC for her to go to for the first cut?  She isn't sure what type of style she is looking for at this point.  She needs something easy as she is a full-time graduate student.  Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
