Glad to hear you are back and you're done with surgery.  Can they give you a liquid form instead of pill form?  That may help.  I haven't had surgery yet, but I have read that a lot of people regret it after, but as time goes on it does get better and then they don't regret it at all.  I will pray for you and a speedy recovery.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.  Take Care.

I am so glad you are home.  Take it easy.  It is hard to stand straight for about 2 weeks, but it really does get better.  I wasnt in much pain after, but when I was I took the pain meds for about a week, then just liquid Tylenol...that works fast.  With all the pills, cut them, some into 4's...and do a piece at a time, take your time.  I so remember everything getting stuck in my chest, it hurts like hell!  Try taking them with WARM, almost ho****er, it helped me.  After 8 weeks everything got so much easier...it will get easier.  Take it day by day... I am thinking of you!

Welcome Home!
Sooooo many of us went through the,"What the heck did I do to myself" syndrome. It will get better. I had to crush my pills in unsweetened apple sauce.(Yuck)  There are chewables that are much easier to tolerate.
This too will get better with everyday that passes. Hang in there and prayers for a smooth recovery.

Nanette,
First of all, welcome home and welcome to the loser's bench! It is so normal to regret having the surgery once it's done. Most of us have had that "what did I do" moment. I know I did. Just try to remember that each day you will feel better and better. The worst is behind you and once the weight starts coming off quickly, you will have a much more positive attitude toward the surgery. I remember how awful I felt after the surgery, however, I would go through that feeling again in a NY second to feel as good as I do now.

Hang in there! Try to keep positive and look at the BIG picture, which is a thinner healthier you.

Hugs,
Lisa

Thank u everyone, gosh i feel like i came home when u all posted back to me.

i havent told anyone in my fmaily save my hubby  about the surgery becaus ein my culture it is a big no-no to do anything to ur body, and i know my family espescially my sister who would berate me and make fun of me and say that i couldnt lose weight on my own, that i should be ashamed to have gained the weight by eating  and not being able to take it off.

i W**** was just by eating. i had toximia, diabetes among other stuff, and being a busy mom and colege student, pepsi would be lunch and snack most days, so that is another what made me gain, i so am missing my foods too, like pepsi, like bread!!!!

i miss eating rice! but i know later in life i will be able to eat these foods again, but i have to lose weight to be able to enjoy eating again,

thanks all for thinking and prayin for me
