OMG - I MUST be dreaming!
I got home last night. there was a message from The Cleveland Clinic looking to schedule me for a "workshop".
I called this morning, thinking they made a mistake. Explained I sent in my medical work-up, and was waiting to hear if I was medically acceptable before going through the paces yet again.
I was told, yes, you have been accecpted into the high risk patient group and have been placed on the fast track because of all the work I've already done!
When I hung up, I closed my office door and cried for 10 minutes I was SOOOOO happy!
Yes, it's an 8 hour drive, but for a new life, I'll suffer - even with today's gas prices!
So, my stubborness and determination has paid off!
I have to schedule the workshop (which I can probably teach by now! LOL) and see the NUT and their shrink, then see the doc.
I am so glad that your determination has indeed paid off! I know you were beginning you become very discouraged at the whole process and I am glad it has finally panned out in such a positive manner,,,, you certainly have worked for it, Anyone who tries saying this is the "easy way out" really doesnt know the battle you have had for health,
Congrats!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! What exciting news!!! I am so happy that you did not give up and kept pushing to get the surgery. Please keep us up to date on your progress as you move closer to your new life! We'll have a huge party on the loser's bench once you join us!
Hugs,
Lisa
