Dr. Lelito psych in buffalo can he ruin your chances?

I'm starting a new thread on this topic to help others who may go to see him.

Lelitto did my pre-op psych consult 1 1/2 yrs ago. He was aarogant and condescending to say the least. Stated I was nowhere ready for surgery and that he was going to recommend 6 mos. supervised diet, nutrional counselling, and a psych follow up before I could have WLS. Also said I could beneift from further sessions with him due to childhood trauma. My friend and I had surgery together. She used Lelitto too and found him to be an asshole. We work for the same agency and have the same exact insurance coverage. Lelitto charged me $8.00 more than her and never gave either of us a receipt. When she called a few days later he refused to send her one. I was worried as hell that I'd "failed" the eval and would have to wait for my surgery. Less than 2 weeks later I got the call from Deann at Synergy to schedule mine and my freind's dates. No 6 mos. supervised diet and no f/up psych eval. Only a nutrtional class which my insurance demands. I know that Synergy uses some other psychologist, 'cause a colleague of mine had surgery w/ Synergy back in Feb. this year and she didn't go to the asshole, Lelitto. I think he needs a psych eval himself!
