Ellis Hospital.

Hi Everyone: I was wondering if any one who had experiences at Ellis could share a little. I started my journey at AMC but changed over to Ellis so far im very happy with my decission. Things are moving very quickly and after meeting my surgeon i felt really confident. The only thing is i havent really seen anyone who had my surgeon, His name is  Dr. Panemanglore Any input woudl be so appreciated.  thanks

I had an awesome experience at Ellis.  I had my surgery with Dr Clarke on a tuesday and was home thursday, had minimal pain.  My good friend Michelle had Dr P..she will post...she has lost over 100lbs since Jan...and looks fantastic.  She had a very great experience...others have had him and liked him too.  Good Luck!!!

I had an awesome experience. I started their program with my seminar last September 29th, had my first visit in October and surgery in January. Please feel free to pm me if you have any questions or just want to chat..

I had Dr. Panemanglore and in a word he is fantastic - all the doctors at Ellis Bariatric are.   Dr. P did my surgery and I was very pleased, I had my surgery Wed. at 9am and went home on Friday and had a wonderful recovery.   I went back to work 2 1/2 weeks later ( I have an office job).  Follow doctors orders and you will do just fine, you are in very good hands.   If you like, you can email me at [email protected] I will answer any other questions you may have. Also, I will tell you my mom and cousin were very impressed with Dr. P after the surgery was done, he sat down with them and answered all of their questions and his nurse called 1/2 way through the surgery with an update, and I think all the doctors there do that. Thank you so much you guys! I felt really confident after my meeting with him .He really eased all my fears. I know AMC has a great program but it really wasnt a fit for me. Ellis seems to be where i belong. I was only a little worried becasue i kept looking and all i could find was patients of Dr. Clarke (who does seem amazing). Dr P just made me feel really good about my decission. it is  GREAT to hear though from past experiences. 

Yes Dr. Clarke is a fantastic surgeon -- you are in great hands though.

I THINK SO THANKS FOR YOUT THOUGHTS THEY ARE SO APPRECIATED. SO CAN I ASK DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS?

No regrets at ALL, I have not vomited once or dumped. I was a type II diabetic on 4 shots of insulin a day and still was out of control, I have not had only one shot since the surgery and now am off all the diabetes medication and have NO more HBP. No more pills for that.

Absolutely no regrets here I feel wonderful and look alot better also!

I know what you mean about AMC not being a fit. They have a great program but like you I felt it wasn't right for me. You will be very well taken care of at Ellis. I am one of those who had Dr Clarke & yes he is awesome but I also believe that all of the surgeons on his staff are just as great!! You are definitely in great hands!!! Cece
