update on me!
Debbi,
I work at a center that does a fair amount of plastic surgery (no post WLS patients so far) and let me tell you 53 is not old! We just had a lady that was in her late 60's for Lipo suction. If you feel that PS would be good for you then go for it, if you are happy with how things are then don't. It is what is right for you.
Jim
MaryEllen,
I have missed you, but the idea of having this surgery is to live again. I hope that when you have healed, the results of you PS exceed your expectations.
I have been feeling good and very positive. I have been taking good care of myself, following Dr's orders in regard to what I eat and making sure I get enough protein, vitamins etc. I have also join the local YMCA and have been doing cardio training 5 days a week and Resistance training 3 days a week. Getting stronger! I really enjoyed my time off from work after my surgery and sadly I am back to the grind, seems like I was never gone! I understand what you mean about having so many things on your plate! (I guess since we are now eating so much less we have to fill our plates in other ways)
Take good care of yourself and let others take care of you. If you need anything let me know, I appreciate that you have been there for me.
Jim
Thank you for your response. It is great to hear that you are exercising and doing so well....how is the Mrs. doing? I hope all is well with her too!
