Hello NY Forum, Long time no talk!  So sorry, but my life has been extremely crazy... between working full-time, going to school p/t (7credits this summer) , my support group, family life, etc. I am feeling somewhat overwhelmed lately.   I had my first ps last Friday and am home recuperating this week.  All went well and hopefully the stitches will be removed next Monday. I hope everyone is doing well, please fill me in on your progress.  For all the newbies, goodluck on this awesome journey...introduce yourselves and tell me about your journey thus far.  For all my old friends, how the heck have you guys been?  Any struggles/concerns?  Anybody newly at goal?   Any new WOW moments to share?   Miss you all, Maryellen

Maryellen, Nice to see you!! I always miss your smiley face!! Congrats on the ps!! I am so looking forward to that part of the journey!!! I suspect it's closer than I can ever imagine!! I have been busy but nothing like you... mine has been mostly work & trying to get my apartment organized better!!! I am tired of my old style & am trying to figure out what my new one is & replace the old stuff!!! It seems like a never-ending battle!! I will not be defeated though!!! I had a couple of WOW moments recently... I found something I haven't seen since high school... my collarbones!! HOLY MOLEY!! Who knew they were hiding under there!! All I have to do is move my shoulder & there they are for the world to see!! I've been able to feel them for a while but now I can see them!! WOO HOO!!! I also took a big step & chopped my hair!!! 3 inches of it gone forever!!! I LOVE IT!! I cannot believe what my face looks like without all of that hair covering it!! It's beautiful if I must say so myself!! (It's nice to say it & really believe it!!) I went back to my natural brown & it's made a huge difference!!! I am working on getting pics so I can finally put one on my avatar... I may have found a look I finally like!! Well, I hope you're doing well!!! Take it easy & rest up while you can!!!!  Cece

Maryellen, I didn't realize you were having plastic surgery, I did miss your posts!  I hope your recovery goes well.  Are you planning another dance party?  I missed the last one you posted about, we got back from Myrtle Beach the day of the party.  My husband and I have been taking dance lessons and I love it!  It is something I've always wanted to do and needless to say it is so much easier now that I've lost weight. Sounds like you are super busy, take it easy and make sure you give yourself time to recover. Mary

Hi Maryellen,  I've seen your different posts before and read your latest ones. Just out of curiosity what type of ps did you have?  I have decided not to get any because I think I'm too old (53), however, I'm only 2 months out but that is my decision.  I'll leave all the ps to you young "girls"!
