I was operated almost 3 yrs ago, by the late Dr. Homan. I lost 147 lbs, but put back 40 lbs eating the wrong thing due to not being able to eat regular food. What I am asking is , Did anyone here have a hole in their stomach, and it has to be fix? That is what I have. They tired to fix it thru my mouth with a clip 2 times, but now I have to go back in the hospital and have the surgey done to repair it. I am nervous, but if someone could tell me they has the same thing, I just might feel better.  Thanks, Carol

Carol did they call this a fistula? A connection between pouch and unused stomach? Is it causing issues? (I am assuming or u probably wouldn't be having a surgery)!
If this was a perforation I'd assume they would not wait 3 weeks to do surgery, can you explain more?
Fistulas are not uncommon.....
