The saga continues

OK, I was on my way to see the doctor in 'cuse (FINALLY! 6 weeks later).  I get a call from AMC (Dr. Singh's Office).  After looking at my records, I'm not a candidate with them - too risky.  I gracefully thank them for their time and hang up.  That avenue is closed. I get to see the doc, after waiting and hour and a half past my appointment time!  He says I'm probably his most dedicated patient.  He couldn't beleive I lost 36 pounds in 6 weeks.  I explained to him I am dedicated to this surgery and will do what it takes to get it done.  Now, he explains the risks - in more detail to me. Varices inside the esophagous also equate to them outside.  The liver issue that causes them, cause varices not only in the esophagus, but the intestines, stomach and esophagous.

So, continue on this diet another MONTH!  (6 weeks due to scheduling)  If I continue to lose weight (man - keep that pressure on me!), he will schedule for for a test or two that will look at the blood vessels in/on stomach and intestines.  THEN he'll make his decision....

Where is that damn paperwork for Cleveland clinic?  I MUST find it tonight!  I have also put a call into Highland(Rochester) to see if they might do it.  I figure if my liver doctor (who I fired) was at Strong, maybe they'll work on me... And those of you who worry about dates...have NOTHING on me!  I laugh when I hear worry when they might get their date....I can't get a surgeon!
