more low carb slow cooker recipes!!!!
I posted more recipes from 200 low carb slow cooker recipes by Dana Carpender. I love this book. I want to give copies out for christmas presents this year, I like it that much! I have been cooking recipes from it (and not trying recipes from the 3 other cookbooks I purchased for review) for awhile now and every one that I have tried has turned out perfectly! http://luvsexytrstno1.blogspot.com/search/label/low%20carboh ydrate Happy cooking!
Thanks for the info. Question....is there a difference between a slow cooker and a crockpot? I own a crockpot, but every time I've used it, the foods always taste too dry.

I am pretty sure they are the same thing. You might check the lid on your crockpot. If it isn't fitting well ( doesn't have to be air tight by any means but it does have to hold in the heat and moisture), the liquids could be evaporating. Also make sure you are using a low setting. I had another person write me with this same problem and she ended up using a warm setting, if you do that, just make sure the meat is getting cooked fully before serving it. You may try adding a little more water to the recipes, starting with a little and adding more as the cooking progresses if you see that it is evaporating. hope that helps
