Waiting on approval..

For about  two weeks now I've been waiting on the letter of approval from my PCP.   She finally must of gotten tired of me calling and faxing her office so she finally faxed it over today!!!   WOOHOOO the  very last thing.   My surgeons office is submitting everything to my insurance tomorrow..  My insurance is known for it's 24-48 hour turn around..   So hopefully, I'll have an answer and even better a surgery date by Friday!!!    I'm sooo excited!!!   Although, my surgeon requires a TWO WEEK pre-op liquid diet..  :(   that's not going to be very much fun!!

Keeping my fingers crossed that you get approval and a date very soon.

PS, the liquid diet is not all that bad.  just follow their instructions exactly and you will do fine and be on the loser's bench before you know it.

 

I have had my final appointment with my surgeon but it seems like it is  taking forever just to get them to send it to the insurance company.  I was curios with such a short turn around time with insurance which one do you have.  I have Excellus BCBS PPO healthy families and most people say about 2 weeks for mine.

My employer (a regional bank) self-insures through RMSCO..
